AARPCV Midday Mixer

03 Mar 2018
1:00pm - 3:00pm EST

Manuel’s Tavern was established in 1956 by Manuel Maloof, the “Godfather” of Georgia Democratic politics. Political figures regularly drop by the neighborhood bar, but it is also a gathering place for blue-collar workers, the press, writers, actors, policemen, and just about anyone else you can imagine. The Tavern represents a true cross-section of the Atlanta community.

Join AARPCV for a Midday Mixer on Saturday, March 3rd from 1-3PM at Manuel’s Tavern (602 NorthHighland Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30307). Come hear RPCVs share stories of moments, characters, and adventures from their Peace Corps service. We’ll have a story prompt grab bag to keep the stories flowing and the party fun! We’ve also got some t-shirt prizes for the best stories. You don’t want to miss this Peace Corps day party and Story Slam Warm-Up activity! Dine-in and enjoy great food and drinks at Manuel’s Tavern and party with the AARPCV community on March 3rd! See you there!

Let’s party together to celebrate 57 years of Peace Corps and share stories featuring Peace Corps host countries in a special, meaningful, and fun way! AARPCV Friends & Family Welcome!!
